Questions, answered
1) What can I do with SelfEval?
Create MCQ, written, and coding tests, publish them to specific classes/sections, and get results the moment students submit. Written answers get an initial auto-check score that you can review and adjust before finalizing.
2) What kind of tests do you offer?
Tests are offered as packages that we customize to your institute's requirements — for example, a package of 10 MCQs and 5 coding questions. The mix of MCQ, written, and coding questions, and the number of each, is set up based on what your institute needs.
3) Which languages are supported for coding tests?
Coding tests currently support Python and JavaScript. Students can write and run code in either language, and their solutions are evaluated automatically.
4) How many students/teachers can we add?
There are no restrictions up to 1,000 students. To add more students, please contact the SelfEval Admin team.
5) Do you limit the number of tests or attempts?
Yes, we do limit the number of tests and attempts for coding tests. The exact limit depends on the package your institute has taken.
6) Can we track how many students have enrolled and their scores?
Yes. You get a dashboard showing how many students have enrolled and their test scores, so teachers and admins can track participation and performance at any time.
7) Is our data safe? (Questions / Student Information / Test Results)
Yes. Your institute's data lives in your own secured database with access rules that only allow your teachers and students to reach their own data — we don't share it with anyone else.
8) Do you collect personal information of students?
Only what's needed to run tests and show results: name, email, institution, and class/section. We don't collect anything beyond that, and it's never sold or shared with third parties.
